HARLEM GLOBETROTTERS BRING FAMILY FUN TO OMAHA

The Harlem Globetrotters have been wowing audiences since 1926- nearly 100 years! Their team of some of the world’s best freestyle basketball players has been touring the country for just as long, taking on their rivals in hilarious, action-packed games. Their performance here in Omaha was no different – keeping fans on their toes, yearning for more. They (quite literally) kept the crowd in their seats as they could be seen running into the stands to return guests to their seats.

The players’ abilities to engage fans made sure everyone left with a smile on their faces and lasting memories. Check out this heartfelt moment where Moose held “Baby Simba” as “The Circle of Life” played in the background!

Constantly integrating funny breaks into their game, The Globetrotters kept the whole stadium roaring in laughter! Star player “Hammer” nearly had everyone rolling on the floor in laughter as he stole the ref’s underwear, holding them up on display!

There was no shortage of action to be seen as well! Behind the comedy of every game is a team of highly talented basketball players who ignite fans in cheers as they dunk, pass, and manipulate the basketball in ways we couldn’t imagine were possible!

In addition, Globetrotters players are incredibly inspiring to their young fans. They have players who come from all backgrounds and can relate to almost any child in attendance. It was magical to see the eyes of children light up when meeting their favorite players and share their stories. Big Shot showed us that great basketball players come in all sizes while Ace represented women and girls across the world in a sport that can sometimes be dominated by men. Furthermore, Dazzle joined the tour all the way from Poland, representing aspiring basketball players worldwide!

In short, if you’re looking for some family-friendly fun for all ages, check out when the Harlem Globetrotters will be near you soon! Don’t forget to stick around after the game to meet your favorite players too!
